Followspot makes reels from your clips in your browser. We keep as little about you as we can: just enough to know who you are and whether you have access. This page says what that is.

Followspot is run by Jeroen, who is responsible for the data on this page. “We” here means him.

Your footage stays with you

Your clips, logos, photos and the reels you make are processed in your browser, on your own computer. They are never uploaded to us, and we can't see them. Your reels and settings are kept in your browser's own storage on your device; clear it, and they are gone.

What we keep when you sign in

Signing in uses your Google account. Google tells us who you are, and we keep:

We use this only to let you in and to run Followspot. We never get your Google password. What Google does with your sign-in is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Sample footage

If you use the sample footage, its clips are downloaded from our server, only for people who are signed in. Like any page, that request is in the hosting logs (below).

Hosting

Followspot runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the site, our small database and the sample footage. Cloudflare processes request logs (such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you ask for) to deliver the site and keep it secure. The fonts are served by us, not by a third party.

Mail goes through Resend: when you ask for access we mail the owner your name, email address and note, and when you get access we mail you. For that, Resend handles those messages and your email address, and nothing else.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone, apart from the hosting above.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your account details while you have access or have asked for it. You can ask us at any time what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it: email hello@followspot.download from the address you signed in with. We delete your details and sign you out everywhere within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
